About

Because online school is not one-size-fits-all.

Hi, I’m Kimberly. My Virtual School Planner grew out of something I kept noticing while working directly with virtual-school students: kids who were plenty capable, but stuck -- not because they couldn’t learn the material, but because nobody had ever shown them how to run the system around it. The portals. The deadlines. The messages they didn’t know how to write. The files that went missing into some folder they never opened again.

So I started teaching a handful of students how to run their own school day -- how to check what’s due, message a teacher without panicking, find the file they swore they’d already turned in. A few printed pages for a few kids slowly grew into a full system, one I kept building because it kept working -- for any family navigating virtual, hybrid, or home-based school.

That’s really the whole idea: help students get organized enough today that they need a little less hand-holding tomorrow, while giving parents a clear, manageable way to stay close without having to do it all for them.

A quick honest note: this is a one-person project. I build it on my own time, with my own tools, and it isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any school, district, curriculum provider, or employer -- just something I made because I kept seeing the same problem and wanted to fix it.

2026

After years of this, I finally finished the first planner -- a 155-page, full-year monthly & weekly planner for grades 6–12 -- with the Learning Library growing alongside it. See the planner to choose the format that fits your student.
